In Loving Memory of Richard Soiseth Richard Milton Soiseth, 75, of Austin, passed away Sunday, February 11, 2007 with his family by his side. He was born April 4, 1931 in Wild Rose, North Dakota, the oldest of six children. He served in the United States Air Force and worked in several different professions before planting roots in Austin, Texas. He spent most of his adult life in automobile sales, eventually becoming one of the top Toyota salesmen. Later in life, he enjoyed traveling the country delivering cars to and from a number of automobile dealers. After retirement, Dick took great pride in volunteering his help where needed, especially for his church. He was also actively involved in developing the local chapter of the Norwegian Society of Texas. Richard was preceded in death by his parents, John and Margaret Soiseth. He is survived by his wife, Gladys; son Jeffrey Scott; daughter and son-in-law, Annie Hinton and Michael; son Paul Kapp and family; granddaughter, Maddie Hinton; brothers, Keith Soiseth and wife Dolores, David Soiseth and wife Deanna, and Lynn Soiseth and wife Anita; sisters, Marilyn Boraas and husband Sherman, Mary Amundson and husband Jerry; and by numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be Thursday, February 15, 2007 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Weed-Corley-Fish Funeral Home in Austin. A celebration of Richards life will be Friday, February 16, 2007, starting at 2:00 p.m. at Lord of Life Lutheran Church, 9700 Neenah Drive, also in Austin. Interment will follow at Capital Parks Cemetery in Pflugerville. Memorials may be made in his honor to the Lord of Life Lutheran Church. We will always miss you Dad .
