Richard F. Sapp, age 92, passed away peacefully on Friday, November 25, 2005. He was born in Morgantown, West Virginia to Friend E. and Catherine Corbin Sapp. Richard was a good and loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather and friend. He was a retired attorney, world traveler, avid reader and active member of many civic organizations in Florida where he lived prior to coming to Austin. He also enjoyed a good poker game. He was preceded in death by Anne, his wife of 60 years; sons, Richard and Kevin; and granddaughter, Courtney. He is survived by his daughters, Ann (Nancy) Sands of Plymouth, MI and Mary Sapp of Austin, TX; sons, Christopher Sapp of Titusville, FL, Vincent Sapp of Ft. Myers, FL, Sean Sapp of Bradenton, FL, as well as 16 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and many friends. Recitation of the Holy Rosary will begin at 7:00 P.M. on Tuesday, November 29, 2005 at Wilke-Clay-Fish Funeral Home. Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 10:00 A.M. on Wednesday, November 30 at St. Ignatius Catholic Church.
