She is survived by her parents, William Howard and Helen Jane Wagner Ransom; her three sons, Caleb Patrick and wife Emmeline Johnson, Grant Ransom Johnson, and William Curtis Johnson; her grandson, Sterling Russell Johnson; her brother and sister-in-law, Stephen and Tiffany Ransom; and her two nephews, Parker and Jasper Ransom.
Becky is a lifelong Austinite and graduated from Anderson High School and Texas State University, formerly known as Southwest Texas State University. She pursued a career in education teaching at Houston Elementary in Austin, Texas and later developed a career in interior design, which as many know, was a true passion of Becky’s.
Becky went to grade school and was confirmed at Redeemer Lutheran Church and was a lifelong Lutheran. She loved spending time and making crafts and cooking with her three sons and two nephews. Anyone that knew Becky understood her love for great recipes, art, and decorating.
The Family will have a private celebration of life at a later date. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to Redeemer Lutheran Church or Hospice Austin’s Christopher House.
