Raymond Bruce Youngblood passed away peacefully on October 24th, 2022. He was born on January 11th, 1933 in Ft. Worth, TX.
After growing up in Alvarado, TX and practicing law in Dallas, TX he moved to Austin to work as an Assistant Attorney General for the state of Texas. In his spare time he loved to read and collect books, write poetry and books and bounce his great grandchildren on his knee.
Bruce is survived by his loving wife of 70 years, Edna, and 3 children, Doug Youngblood, Karen Goodwin and Guy Youngblood, as well as 3 granddaughters and 7 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be 6:00pm to 8:00pm Sunday, October 30th at Weed Corley Fish Funeral Home, 5416 Parkcrest Dr, Austin TX. Funeral services will be held at 10:00am Monday, October 31st at Weed Corley Fish, 5416 Parkcrest Dr, Austin TX. Burial will be in Austin Memorial Park Cemetery. The service will be broadcast live.
