Phillip S. Stern

Phillip S. Stern (Phil), 89 passed away the 6th of February 2012. He is survived by his daughter, Debbie Danforth and husband, Phil; son, Bruce Stern and his wife Sharon; daughter-in-law, Mindi; grandchildren Kim, Tony, Zachary, Stephanie and Allison; great grandson, Cole; sisters, Bernice and Shirley; brothers, Irv and Harvey. He is preceded in death by two of his children, Diane and Bob, his loving wife of 64 years, Millie and his sister, Evelyn. Phil Stern was a WWII veteran who served in Iwo Jima and the Philippines. Phil had a wonderful sense of humor, keen intelligence and was a kind and generous father as well as a caring husband. He used his creativity and wit to write poems and lyrics to songs for family events.

Graveside services will be held Tuesday, the 7th of February 2012 at Austin Memorial Park (Agudas Achim), 2800 Hancock Dr. Austin, Tx.
