Phillip met Vicki Johnston in 1996. They were married on 21 June, 1997 in Coolum, Queensland, Australia.
PJ had several passions in life. Flying, golf and his Pontiac GTO were his favorites, however love for his family was always his priority.
As an accomplished Lieutenant Commander Pilot and instructor pilot for the Navy, Lieutenant Commander Phil Johnston had the opportunity to fly multiple prop planes and P3’s taking him around the world. He spent most of his free time playing golf, talking about playing golf and watching golf!!
Moving on he worked for Lockheed Martin for over 20 years and in recent years was proud of his involvement and volunteer work as Post Commander for the American Legion Post 326 in Austin Texas.
PJ has lived all over the world and visited places that many of us could only imagine.
He will be dearly missed by all of us that knew and loved him, he will be in our hearts forever and never forgotten. God Bless his soul and now he can rest in peace.
PJ is survived by his wife, Vicki Gillian Johnston; ex-wife, Julia Anne Johnston; sons,
