He is preceded in death by his father, Marcelino Rivas Sr., mother, Basilisa; nieces, Mandy Rivas and Jaclyn Rivas.
He is survived by his wife, Vivian Rivas; daughters, Glorianne Santos, Jodie Reina, and Crystal Sanchez; son, Peter Rivas Jr., and a host of other family and friends.
The family will receive friends Wednesday, May 11, 2016, at 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M., followed by Prayer Service at 7:00 P.M., at Cook-Walden/Forest Oaks Funeral Home. Funeral Service will be Thursday, May 12, 2016, at 10:00 A.M., at Cook-Walden/Forest Oaks. Interment immediately to follow at Cook-Walden/Forest Oaks Memorial Park.
