She was preceded in death by loving parents, Marcelina and Margarito Berrelez; her beloved husband, Hilario Trevino; her son, Larry Trevino; son-in-law, Daniel Lugo III, brothers, Margarito and Porfirio Berrelez of Arizona; sister, Anita Gallegos of Corpus Christi.
She is survived by her siblings, Sarah Jimenez and Julian Berrelez of Arizona; daughter, Mary Lou Trevino Lugo; sons, Cat Trevino (wife) Emily Torres Trevino, Louis B. Trevino (wife) Bertha Alba Trevino, Robert B. Trevino; eleven grandchildren, Ron Trevino, Aundrea Trevino, Nikki Trevino Zola, Laurie Trevino Esparza, Shawn Trevino, Keith Trevino, Jason Lugo, Armando Trevino, Robert H Trevino, Jonathan Lugo, and Paul Trevino, ten great-grandchildren; and one great- great-grandchild.
She committed her heart and soul to her family, was devoted to her faith as a member of Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church and of the Our Lady of Guadalupe Society. Paula brought a sense of love and harmony to all those she knew. She never forgot a face or a birth date and possessed a strong work ethic which was well understood by her children and grandchildren who revered her amazing spirit. Special thanks to caretakers Martha Posada and Adela Flores.
Pallbearers will be her grandsons, Shawn Trevino, Keith Trevino, Armando Trevino, Jonathan Lugo, Jason Lugo, Robert H Trevino and Paul Trevino. Honorary pallbearers are Ron Trevino, Tony Estrada and Rudy Esparza.
Rosary will be recited on Tuesday, September 20, 2011 at 7:00 pm at Weed-Corley-Fish Funeral Home, 2620 South Congress Avenue. Mass of the Christian Burial will be celebrated at 12:00 pm on Wednesday, September 21, 2011 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, 1209 9th Street. Interment will follow at Assumption Cemetery.
