To the family, Paul was like a grandfather to me, always interested and proud of me and my family. We enjoyed his and Ruth's visits in foreign countries. We were blessed with their support. In him you have a great heritage.

Dear family....You don't know me but I am Jane's first cousin and I knew Carl well and I heard many good things about Paul.  My sympathies are with you.  Helen Hupe

We were so blessed to live next door to Paul and of course his beautiful wife Ruth for 17 years.  They were like adopted grandparents to our children and we miss them.  They are very blessed to have a wonderful family and so many friends including our church family at BUMC.

The Hights

Dr. Pfeiffer had a profound influence on my life, on Rice and on the lives of so many others.  The Student Association created The Rice University Mentor Award, with Dr. Pfeiffer as the first recipient. God Bless Ruth and the rest of his family. Thank you for sharing him with us!
