Nancy Louise Topolski was born in Omaha, Nebraska on May 8, 1949 on Mother’s Day to her loving parents Mary Ann and Clyde Chandler. She was the perfect gift to her family. Nancy’s bond was so strong with her family that she and her husband Jack followed her younger sister, Kathy, to Texas in 1984. She was worried her baby sister would be lonely. She was a doting aunt and second mom to her nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.
Nancy was incredibly selfless and a bright beacon of love and light. She always took care of others with no expectation in return. She understood and loved each person so deeply that she cared for them in the perfect way. In any circumstance, Nancy brought the fun and her contagious laughter to always lighten the burdens of life. She chose to find joy and fun in every situation even though her life was not without difficulties. Despite not having any children of her own, she was a mother and friend to all. There was never a person she met that did not become her friend instantly. Her generosity and love had no bounds.
Nancy was a manger in the print department of Farm Credit for 25 years where she was loved by so many colleagues who became her dear friends. She was passionate about living life at the lake including long boat rides, sitting in the sun, and enjoying family and friends. If you frequented Volente Beach or Cool River in the past, Nancy and Jack were the life of the place. In addition to her beloved family and friends, Nancy loved her fur babies with her whole heart. One of the many ways she showed her love was through her delicious dishes that she cooked for every special event with her family that warmed our hearts.
Nancy was a bright light that shone God’s love and selflessness so perfectly. Everyone who knew Nancy adored her and our lives will never be the same without her.
She has left an incredible legacy for her adoring family. She is survived by her sisters Carol Reents of Lincoln, Nebraska and Kathleen Forney and her husband Craig Forney of Cedar Park, Texas.
