She is preceded in death by her parents George and Lois Brewer and brothers LaVaun and David "Buddy" Brewer.
Mickey is survived by her husband, Kelton Reynolds who affectionately referred to her as "de Mouse"; daughter, Tammy Pessoa; son, Mark Timmons; grandchildren, Mekenzy and Kelsey Timmons and Ryan Pessoa; sister and brother-in-law, Billie and Curtis Figer; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Bill and Joyce Reynolds; two nieces and two nephews.
Mickey served Hays Hills Baptist Church in many leadership capacities. Mickey enjoyed quilting, crocheting, cooking and rooting for the Texas Longhorns. She was an avid advocate for breast cancer awareness.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, January 12th from 6 pm to 8 pm at Weed-Corley-Fish Funeral Home at 2620 So. Congress in Austin, Tx. Mickey's Celebration of Life Service will be held on Monday, January 13th at 10 am at Hays Hills Baptist Church at 1401 W. FM 1626 in Buda, Tx. Interment will follow at Live Oak Cemetery.
Honoring Mickey as pallbearers will be Coach Bob Shelton, Thomas Doebner, Coach Donny McDonald, Tim Snowden, Sean Sivils and Jim Washburn. Honorary pallbearers are The Onion Creek Ramblers and Hays Hills Sunday School Teachers.
The family would like to sincerely thank Dr. Dennis Tweedy and Texas Oncology for the special care that they gave to Mickey.
The family asks that in lieu of flowers donations be made to the Susan G. Komen Foundation.
