I will always have "Doc" in my heart.  He was like a brother to me. We chased the girls, worked on our old cars, and enjoyed scuba diving together. The older I get these memories get stronger, and yes I miss him very, very much. He was a great man and I am a better man because of HIM.....

You will be missed Doc. You touched so many lives and we are the better for it.

We will continue to honor spirit year after year. You are a true inspiration and loved by so many. You will be missed but never forgotten. <3

Doc was one of a kind.  His wit, sense of humor and gentle heart will be greatly missed.  We will never forget the good times we had fishing, super bowl parties and just hanging out for backyard barbecues!  Rest In Peace Doc!

Doc leaves us with a legacy of kindness, practical wisdom of immense magnitude, and many, many smiles. He will always be a cherished friend.  I can see him now, the star of the full page ad on page 1 of the Window Magazine, sitting at his desk, leaning back in his chair, legs extended, boots on the desk, with a welcoming smile and the announcement that "The Doctor Is In".  Thanks, Doc, for the great memories.  You taught me a lot.

So many people come into our lives , then leave the way they came. But there are those precious few who touch our hearts so deeply we will never be the same. I will always remember you as one of the precious few who never turned their back on a person when he or she was down for the count. May God Bless you my friend. You will be missed by many.

I have known Mike since the early sixties. He was my BEST FRIEND and I will miss him dearly. We terrorized and chased all the ladies in Hurst, Euless and Haltom City. Those days are long gone but Mike or "Doc" as he was called later in life never changed. I will always have him in a special place in my heart. I am so glad that we had the long talk two weeks ago about growing old, health problems and all our meds....I will miss my life long friend.

I will hold many fond and funny memories close to my heart Dear Friend. Your laugh, your smile, your giving heart will be truly missed. You are now at peace and in pain no longer............

Sweet Doc, can't count the times you and Mark made me laugh so hard my sides hurt.  You humor, love for people and life will always be in my heart.  I know you're new life is so much better than the old one.  God's blessing you my friend.

Doc was truly an amazing, one-of-a-kind person. I feel very blessed having known him and considered him a very special friend. Will miss his sweet smile and quirky sense of humor. Still can't believe he's gone. My heart is heavy along with countless others who were fortunate to have him in their lives.

I met doc 27 yrs ago .He didn't just talk about hard work paying off he showed me the way to make your own way in life. Thanks doc .you will be missed

Joe and I were deeply saddened to hear of Doc's passing.  We had so many great times with volunteer work for the Austin Apartment Association.  His idea to start the Thanksgiving Food drive in Gayle's memory has had a positive effect on so many less fortunate in Austin.  We will always remember Doc's laugh, and kindness to everyone he met.
