Melissa Lynn Shapiro

Melissa was a beloved daughter, granddaughter, sister, Aunt and friend. She was born on October 23, 1975 in Houston Texas, the daughter of Michael and Ann Shapiro.

Melissa was a loving and compassionate person who loved to be around people. She had the most beautiful smile and a great sense of humor. She enjoyed traveling, being on the lake and going to Spurs games. She most enjoyed being with her nieces and nephews and loved and cared for them as though they were her own children. There are so many photos of them together, tongues stuck out, having a good time.

The relationship she had with her brothers was not like any other. She was a wonderful big sister that helped them grow into the fine gentlemen they are today and taught them many of life’s lessons. She always had their backs and do anything to help.

She is survived by her mother Ann Shapiro, father and stepmother Michael and Casimiera Shapiro, brothers, Jason and Chesley Shapiro, sister Taylor Shapiro, nieces Violet and Ashlynn Shapiro, nephews Chesley Jr. and Everett Shapiro, sister-in-law’s Randi Shapiro and Shelley Lorenzen and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
