May Ellen worked as a bookkeeper for the Austin State School for 11 years, Texas School for the Blind for 2 years and was a member of the staff of the photo lab at the Harry Ransom Center at the University of Texas for 20 years.
May Ellen was preceded in death by her parents, granddaughter, Megan, brother, Rex Sanders, sister, Jean Norwood, and step-sisters, Carolyn Deaner and Nan Durden.
May Ellen is survived by three sons, John of Simi Valley, California, Robert of Metarie, Louisiana and Thomas of Austin; her grandchildren, Kevin and Melissa.
A graveside service will be conducted at ten o’clock in the morning on Thursday, the 1st of November 2012, at Cook-Walden Capital Parks, Pflugerville, Texas under the direction of Cook-Walden Funeral Home.
