Mary Alice Garcia

She worked as a customer service expert at Advance Auto Parts.

She was actively involved in arts and crafts, listened to music, and enjoyed public gatherings with friends and family. Mary loved to eat BBQ and attend car shows.

She is preceded in death by her father-in-law, George Hack Sr., mother-in-law, Carol Hack, paternal grandmother, Rosie Garcia, and maternal great-grandmother Cresencia Maldonaldo.

She is survived by her husband, George Hack Jr., daughter, Alyxandria C. Hack, father, Martin V. Garcia Jr., mother, Janie, sister, Michelle Garcia, Mateo Thomas Garcia, aka son, brothers, Joe Angel Garcia and Martin Jesus Garcia, nieces Ashley Marie Alba, Desiree Garcia, Alyssa Guerrero, Victoria Guerrero, Marissa Jade Garcia and Mikayla Pina, and nephews, John Philip Alba II, Anthony Pina, Xavier Pina, Joe Angel Garcia Jr., and Xaiden Pina.

The family would like to thank everyone who made donations for Mary’s funeral arrangements and the care and compassion they showed our family. A special thanks to Michelle, Joe, Tom Garcia and Tanja Steenmeijer.

A memorial service for Mary will be held Saturday, September 16, 2023 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Cook-Walden/Forest Oaks Funeral Home and Memorial Park, 6300 West William Cannon Drive, Austin, TX 78749.

REMEMBER ME in your heart, your thoughts and in your memories. Remember the times we loved and the times we fought, the times we laughed and the times we cried, the times we teased and the times we shared. For if you think of me, I will not have died. I have only gone with Jesus.
