Mary Inez Williams Benner passed away on February 15, 2005. Mary was born on February 5, 1924, to Pate and Myrtle Williams. She was preceded in death by her husband, Wilbert Benner. She is survived by her children, Edwin Benner, Rosetta Ozmun and husband Donald, Lavina Meng, John Benner and wife Maryke; sister, Morie Blackman and husband Clarence; brother, Henry Williams; ten grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren. She was a nurse with the Army Nurses Corp during the Korean War. She was a Nurse at the Austin State Hospital for 24 years. She was a member in good-standing with the Creedmoor Union Church. Pallbearers will be her grandsons. Visitation will be from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Thursday, February 17, 2005, at Wilke-Clay-Fish Funeral Home. Services will be held at 10:00 am on Friday, February 18, 2005, at Wilke-Clay-Fish Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Creedmoor Cemetery, Creedmoor, Texas, with Reverend Ross Hooks officiating.
