Mario S. Garcia Jr., age 44, of Austin passed away on Sunday, July 26, 2009. He was preceded in death by his father, Mario S. Garcia Sr. "A faithful, loving and supportive husband. A committed father who loved his family above all else. We were Mario's world and he was ours. A man filled with genuine kindness and character, giving and loving to all. Respected, admired, and trusted. His many, many talents made him invaluable to his friends and family alike. A good, honest and true man." Mario S. Garcia; his children, Amanda England, Andrew Petty, Destiny Garcia, Trinity Garcia; grandsons, Troy and A.J.; mother, Delia Garcia; sisters, Rosario S. Garcia, Amanda Rodriguez (David), Noemi Rodriguez (Juan), Norma Garcia, Elisa Avila (Bernie), Sandra Ochoa; brother, Jerry Garcia; and many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held from 6:00 pm – 7:00 pm on Wednesday, July 29, 2009 at Weed-Corley-Fish South with recitation of the Holy Rosary to follow at 7:00 pm. Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 am on Thursday, July 30, 2009 at St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church with Father Pat Coakley officiating. Interment will follow at Live Oak Cemetery, Manchaca, Texas.
