Marilyn Marques was born on May 8th, 1982 and passed away on January 2, 2022 from cancer. Marilyn arrived in Texas at just 5 months old and lived in her south Austin home for her whole life. She attended LBJ Science Academy and was active in drama, graduating in 2000. She became a massage therapist and ran her own business until the COVID pandemic shut down those businesses. Marilyn lost her brother, John, in 2004. She is survived by her parents, John B. Marques III, of Kaneohe, HI, and Noreen Nestlerode, of Austin, TX.
