We are sad to announce the passing of our mother Maria Estela Sanchez on January 28, 2024, at the age of 85. Born April 14, 1938 in Maverick County Eagle Pass Texas to predeceased parents Victoria and Benino Soto.
She lost her battle to cancer and passed away surrounded by her loved ones. Maria was a wonderful mother who was always there when we needed her. She also had many friends and was well-loved by her family and friends. She was known for her cooking. Enjoyed traveling and casinos. Maria Estela was a cherished tribal elder of the Lipan Apache Community.
She is survived by her four children, Lorena Sanchez, Ninfa Patricia Ganous, Pablo Ernesto Sanchez, and Hector Sanchez. Her predeceased husband Pablo Sanchez and daughter Maria Estela Sanchez.
Grandchildren: Sean Michael, Elizabeth, Melinda, Littlebear, Essence, Elijah, Adela, Roberto, Mia Renee, Pablo Jr., Yvette, Yasmin, Hector Jr. and twelve great-grandchildren.
