Maria "Cuca" P. Gonzales

Our beloved Mother, Grandmother and Great-Grandmother, passed away on Sunday, January 18, 2015. Maria raised two daughters and two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren and touched many people with her beautiful smile and loving heart. She will be deeply missed by all of her family, but we take comfort in knowing that along with Christ, her husband and many family members and friends will be there to welcome her into heaven.

Maria is preceded in death by her husband, Jose L. Gonzales; parents, Atanacio and Sofia Partida; brothers, Apolinar and Joseph Partida; sisters, Ysaura Lopez, Henriquetta Rodriguez, Domitila Tamayo, Olivia Velasquez, Eugenia Velasquez, Mary Velasquez and Beatrice Partida.

Maria is survived by her two daughters, Mary Gloria Gonzales and Guadalupe Rios, grandchildren, Roberto J. Rios and Melissa Ojeda and husband Eddie; great-grandchildren, Cristina Marie Ojeda and Christopher Joseph Ojeda all of Austin, TX; spoiled grand-puppies, Bambi, Max and Coco.

Rosary will be held on Tuesday, January 20, 2015 at 7:00 pm at Weed-Corley-Fish Funeral Home, 2620 South Congress Avenue, Austin, TX 78704. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 am on Wednesday, January 21st, 2015 at Sta. Juila Catholic Church in Austin, TX. Interment will follow at Assumption Cemetery.
