Margie attended Penn State University for her undergraduate degree in environmental design. She loved cheering on her Nittany Lions every season.
Margie owned her own design firm “Lewis Interiors” before joining Palm Harbor/Cavco as the Vice President of Interior Design where she dedicated her talents for 29 years. Designing homes was her passion and she was never ready to retire from the career that she loved so much. She was exceptional at staying ahead of industry trends, designing and picking all materials, installing, decorating, and delivering world class-award winning home designs.
Margie is survived by her husband of 40 years, the love of her life, her soulmate, William L. Wright. She is survived by and was the loving stepmother of Holly Wright Kupetis, of Burr Ridge, IL, proud Grandmother of two grandchildren, Ava and Alexa Kupetis.
Margie enjoyed travelling with Bill and they visited over 30 countries, often returning to Italy, their favorite place. Margie also loved photography and would capture stunning photographs to frame during their travels abroad. She loved plants and landscape design and would frequently be found gardening and decorating her home with all of nature’s beauty.
For those she kept close she loved fiercely and inspired many with her drive and ambition.
To many in her industry she was known as the “Queen” and there is no doubt she is now proudly wearing a crown in heaven.
To honor her life her family will hold a private ceremony at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery in San Antonio Texas.
