Madison Nicole Lamb was born on January 29, 2000, to John Lamb and Lori Waters in Austin, TX. From the very beginning of Madison’s life, it was clear that she was blessed with the natural personality traits which drew others to love and cherish her and she carried these through life. Madi taught deep, difficult lessons of patience, unconditional love, accepting others, and trusting in God. Madison loved bringing joy to others. Have you heard “if you have a smile, give one away?” That was her. She loved to laugh and her laughter was contagious. Her tears broke hearts. Madison enlightened lives wherever she went. She genuinely accepted everyone. Her heart grew as she reached out to serve and help others. She felt like one with the suffering and less fortunate; she knew their struggles. Madi loved music, art, and creativity. She enjoyed gymnastics, dancing, volleyball, basketball, track, and soccer. Madison was full of life. She loved the outdoors, animals, and nature. She enjoyed spending time at her Grandpa Lamb’s ranch in Cuero, TX. There she enjoyed fishing, shooting guns, swimming, and breathing in the great outdoors.
Above all, Madison loved her family. The deeper she went into addiction, the more she pulled away from the ones she loved most. She did not want anyone to be hurt by her pain. But when you love someone as deeply as Madison is loved, you feel the pain. God has taken her home to suffer no more.
Madison is survived by her parents: Lori Brooks, John Lamb and wife, Ashley Lamb; her beloved brother: John Lamb III; grandparents: Marty and Georgia Van Blair, Steven and Donna Waters, John and Patty Lamb, Ray and Sheryl Coble; great grandmother Terri Scoggan; numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins: Brandon and Brandi Griffin (Baylee (Ka’Myla), Brayden, Cole, Drew), Dawn Umiker (Tyler, Ryan), Rolin and Johnna Davis (Laikyn (Zara), Lexi, Kirk, Jaetyn, Kylen, Eliannah), Steven and Jessica Waters (Sheltyn), Ryan and Ashley Bramblett (Lilly, Allie, Landyn, Ben), Alan and Kaylee Waters (Dalton, Trenton, Payton), Ryan and Kayla Waters (Joe, Cameron, Austin), Michael and Sara Lamb (Thomas, Jane, Logan), Kara Bramblett (Amico), James and Kayla Waters, Leslie and Emma Waters. Her departure rocked the very foundation of all who loved her.
Even in death, Madison continued to give to those less fortunate than herself. Her donated organs saved six lives. She will be remembered by many as a hero.
