Carlos was a great human being and we were blessed to have been a part of his wonderful and exciting life. He was a loving soul and found a way to enjoy life to the fullest. His first and only love, Linda, who he met at 18, was his lifelong partner.
Born in Brownsville, Texas, he was able to enjoy both the company of his family and the beach. Carlos loved music, any kind and anywhere! One of his greatest passions was his love for Italy: its culture and food, which he often combined with a 10 day Umbria Jazz Festival. Carlos genuinely cared for people and had great compassion for those less fortunate and homeless, he never missed an opportunity to share his blessings. He had a close circle of friends that continued to grow as no one was ever a stranger. Carlos served his country in the U.S. Army from 1974 to 1978. He had a lengthy career with Wayne where he recently celebrated his 30 year anniversary and enjoyed the companionship and comradery of his extended family there.
