Lucy Gracy

Lucile Trammell Enloe Gracy, 82, of Austin, Texas passed away on March 29, 2012. Lucy was born August 13, 1929 in Laredo, Texas to C. J. and Lucile Enloe. She married Richard Swearingen Gracy, where they lived their married life in Austin, Texas.

She is preceded in death by two children, John Lance Gracy and Kathy Lynn Gracy; her parents, two sisters and one brother.

Lucy is survived by three children, Richard Clarence Gracy of Austin, Debra Carlene Gracy of Boerne and Matthew Zane Gracy and wife Annette of Midland. Along with her children, her five grandchildren and four great grandchildren brought such joy and sunshine to her life. Surviving grandchildren are Sheri Carlene Walls and husband Michael of Boerne, Katherine Nicole Brooks and husband Nicholas of Kingsland, Matthew Ryan Gracy of College Station, Lance Heath Gracy of Midland and John Kyle Gracy of Midland. Surviving great grandchildren are Mason Zane Brooks, Avery Lucile Brooks, Owen Wendell Brooks and James Marshall Walls.

She was a loyal and cherished friend to many and her family was her greatest joy and passion. The memories and love she leaves behind is without measure and will forever remain in the hearts of those who love and hold her so dear.

Friends are cordially invited to a visitation with the family from ten o’clock in the morning until twelve o’clock in the afternoon, on Monday, the 1st of April 2012, at Cook-Walden Funeral Home, 6100 North Lamar Boulevard, Austin, Texas.

Funeral services will be conducted at two o’clock in the afternoon on Monday, the 1st of April, in the Colonial Chapel of Cook-Walden Funeral Home, 6100 North Lamar Boulevard, Austin, Texas. Interment will follow in Oakwood Cemetery, Austin, Texas.
