Lorene S. Zoch

Lorene S. Zoch age 87 of Giddings died Tuesday, July 15, 2014. She was born August 11, 1926 in Giddings and was the daughter of Henry and Selma (Fischer) Namken. She was a lifelong resident of Giddings and was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church and the Immanuel Ladies Aid for a number of years.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Herbert Zoch, her brothers, Albert, Alton, Johnny and Leroy, and her sister Ruby.

Survivors include her son, Kenneth and wife Becky of Austin; grandchildren, Donald, Chris and Emily; great grandchildren, Jeremy, Ashlyn, Aubrey and Avery; brother, Robert Namken of Smithville; sister, Lillian Faske of Houston, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be 9:00 to 10:00 a.m. Friday, July 18, 2014 at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Giddings, followed by services at 10:00 a.m. with Reverend Robert J. Tiner officiating. Interment will follow in the Giddings City Cemetery.
