Linda graduated from Lanier High School in 1973. She worked for Custom Book Bindery for 10 years. Linda loved to write short stories and she also loved animals especially cats and dogs.
She is preceded in death by her father, Wenston Menley. She is survived by her mother, Lucille; her brother, James and many aunts, uncles and cousin.
Visitation with the family will be from 6:00-8:00 PM on Thursday, August 31, 2017 at Cook-Walden Funeral Home, 6100 North Lamar Blvd, Austin, Texas 78752.
Funeral service will be held at 10:00 AM on Friday, September 1, 2017 at Cook-Walden Funeral Home, 6100 North Lamar Blvd, Austin, Texas. Interment to follow in Elgin Cemetery.
