Linda N. Boatright passed away on July 1, 2023 in Austin, Texas. Linda was born in Austin, Texas on September 25, 1955 to Bill and Nelda Sakewitz Boatright who preceded her in death. Her beloved brother Billy Boatright, Jr. also preceded her in death in 2018. She is survived by cousins and friends.
Linda graduated from McCallum High School in 1974. She resided in Hyde Park for over 50 years. Linda was a longtime member of First English Lutheran Church in Austin.
Linda had a great love for her family and devoted her life to their care. She was an accomplished homemaker and brought happiness to others with her cooking, baking, decorating, sewing and crafting. Linda had a passion for genealogy and was the family genealogist (descendant of Thomas Boatwright, old 300). Linda published genealogy books that she provided to family and submitted to the Library of Congress to ensure correct information is passed down throughout the generations.
Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, July 8, 2023 at Austin Memorial Park, 2800 Hancock Dr., Austin.
