Levi Benjamin Pruett

Levi Benjamin Pruett of Leander, Texas passed away Friday, May 26, 2017. Levi was born August 9, 1938 in Austin, Texas. He served two years in the U.S. Army (1960-1962). He worked for the state of Texas from 1970-1993 when he retired at the age of 55. Levi loved the outdoors, gardening, nature, fishing, traveling, bluegrass music and helping others. He enjoyed traveling in their RV all over the United States, Canada, and Alaska with his wife. He also loved and enjoyed time with his family. Levi was proud of his home, yard and gardens. He always enjoyed showing his hard work and sharing stories of his life experiences with everyone. Levi is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 59 years, Doris Pruett; daughter Cheryl and husband Wade Sanders, daughter Lisa and husband Mike Klatt; grandchildren Dalton Sanders, Madison Sanders, Griffin Klatt, Foster Sanders, Spencer Klatt, and Raegan Sanders; sister Mary Holder of Florida; extended family and many friends.
