He departed the life August 15, 2024 in Austin, Texas. Leonard confessed his life at an early age. He moved to Austin and was employed as a Truck driver. Leonard was a dedicated employee and retired in due to his health in 1990.
Leonard was preceded in death by his parents; one son; seven brothers and one sister.
He leaves to cherish his memories three sons, Leonard Baker III, Leonard Benford, Jr. and Nathan Baker; three daughters, Dorothy Benford, Kim Baker and Carolyn Baker; and a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephew. Also, he leaves is his longtime friend and companion, Betty Ussery.
