Lena Huber Doyle

Lena Huber Doyle passed away on August 15 in Seton Medical Center. Lena was born on July 19, 1919 in Kansas City, Kansas, the only child of Joseph and Magda Huber. She was educated in Kansas City at Wyandotte High School, Kansas City Junior College and the University of Missouri at Kansas City. Lena married Harry Doyle on September 8, 1943 in Kansas City. Lena and Harry lived in Borger, Texas; Bartlesville, Oklahoma; and London, England before retiring to Austin in 1983. Lena is survived by Harry, their two sons and their wives, five grandchildren and one great grandchild. Mike, their older son, and his wife Jill live in San Diego, California and have two daughters: Kimberly Mouer of San Clemente, California and Juliana Doyle of Los Angeles, California. Kimberly and her husband Leigh have a daughter Isabel who is Lena’s first great grandchild. Chuck, their younger son, and his wife Lydia Beebe and their three children, Louise, Jason and Bion, live in San Francisco, California. A memorial service will be held Monday, August 18 at 2:00 P.M. at the Westlake Hills Presbyterian Chuch. In lieu of flowers, the family has suggested a contribution to the American Heart Association.
