Lawrence Evariest Guagliardo

Lawrence E. Guagliardo was born on October 27, 1932 in Hammond, Louisiana. He passed from the shadows of this life into eternal life on Friday, April 1, 2011 in Austin, Texas after a prolonged illness.

Lawrence served his country in the Army during the Korean Conflict. He graduated from Southeastern University with a bachelor degree in chemistry and continued to serve the public welfare through his position with the Food and Drug

Administration until his retirement.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Annie and Frank Guagliardo Sr.; brothers, Anthony Guagliardo Sr., Pete Guagliardo, and Jerome Guagliardo; and sisters, Nora Jones and Lou Anna DePaula.

He leaves behind his sister, Antonia G. Mitchell; brothers, N. V. Guagliardo and Frank Guagliardo Jr. As well as his wife of 58 years, June C. Guagliardo; daughter, Evelyn K. Guagliardo; son, Lawrence J. Guagliardo; five grandchildren, Otis C. Sizemore Jr., Lee S. Sizemore, Walter L. T. Sizemore, Tracy L. Guagliardo, Jonathan S. Guagliardo; seven great- grandchildren, Eric Sizemore, Xander W. Sizemore, Kohl R. Sizemore, Kiernan Sizemore, Emory Sizemore, RosaBella C. Sizemore and Dylan M. Sizemore.

The service will be held Tuesday, April 21, 2011 at 1:00 p.m. at Thompson Funeral Home, 12012 Highway 190 West, Hammond, Louisiana, 70401.
