Laura Ann (Boone) Fisher, a beloved wife, mother and grandmother, age 72, of Austin, died Thursday, March 19, 2009. She was born on July 6, 1936 in Bloomington, Illinois, the first of two children of Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Boone. She married the love of her life, Gerald J. Fisher on July 19, 1958 in Bloomington, Illinois. Laura and Gerald raised six children, two daughters in Austin, one in Beeville, Texas, two sons in Kyle, Texas, one son in Austin; seven grandchildren, and a brother, David that lives in Kansas. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 pm on Wednesday, March 25, 2009 at Weed-Corley-Fish South. Interment will be held at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery in San Antonio, Texas. Memorial contributions can be made to the "Gathering" at Westlake Hills Presbyterian Church, 7127 Bee Caves Road, Austin, Texas 78746 or a worthy charity of your choice. She is with her Savior now.
