Kurt Matthew Wisener, 46, of Austin, TX, passed away in his home on the morning of Thursday, August 4, 2022.
He was born on January 17, 1976, in Dayton OH, the son of Charles Jeffrey and Christine Ann (Harry) Wisener, who preceded him in death.
Kurt graduated from Elida High School in Elida, OH in 1994. He served in the Air Force as a young man, then cultivated a career in Information Technology. At the time of his passing, he worked as Desktop Support Technician for The WIC Division of Texas Health and Human Services Commission (HHSC). Kurt was a boy scout, a passionate cook, a gifted singer, an avid gamer, a deep and creative thinker who loved a colorful debate, and a loyal friend and family member. He will be missed by many.
A memorial service for Kurt will be held Friday, August 12, 2022 at 11:00 AM at Cook-Walden Funeral Home, 6100 North Lamar Blvd, Austin, Texas 78752.
Donations in Kurt’s name may be made to the American Heart Association or the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.
