Our beloved Kristy Gale Astran, 43, of Austin, Texas, passed away on November 11, 2023. Kristy Gale was born in Houston, Texas in 1980 to Rene B. Astran and Kathryn E. Astran. Kristy recently completed her Bachelors of Arts degree in Criminal Justice while attending Huston-Tillotson University. She served the Austin community as a law enforcement officer for the Austin Police Department for over 15 years. Kristy also served briefly in the Army Reserves. Her most cherished role in life was being a mother to Isaac and Savanah Dagenhart
Kristy was a special human being who loved others deeply. She was always willing to help others if they were in need. Her hopes was to see those around her flourish in life. This is why she knew she was brought into the world to be a police officer.
Kristy Gale is preceded in death by her mother, Kathryn E. Astran and her father, Rene B. Astran. She is survived by her children, Terry I. Dagenhart Jr and Savanah G. Dagenhart as well as her siblings Brandie Astran, Ashley Gallarado, and Joseph Astran.
Revelation 21:4 And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.
