KIMBERLY KAY HILL SAVAGE passed away November 5, 2015 in San Mateo, Ca. She was formerly of Austin,Texas. Kim is survived by her loving and devoted husband Tim and nephew Michael Munoz for whom she was a surrogate mother. Other survivors are her father Larry Hill, MD and his wife Barbara; sisters Kelley Aguirrie and husband Anthony, Karla Munoz, and Kevin Duran and partner James Beard, all of Austin; brother Larry Hill II and wife Pamela from Arlington, TX and step-sisters Jennifer Polk and husband Chris from Dallas, TX and Julie Boehm and husband Marty from Shiner TX .She is also survived by nieces and nephews; Jennifer Aguirrie, Larry Hill Ill, Travis Duran, Jonathan Aguirrie, Shelby Duran, Michael Munoz, Keagan Polk, Kash Polk, Boe Boehm and Kendyl Boehm and uncle Odus Francis and wife Beth of North Augusta, SC. Also; Brother-in-laws Jerry Savage and wife Cindy of Benicia, CA ;Tom Savage and wife Shellie of Olympia,WA; Michael Savage of Benicia, CA; and sister-in-law Belinda Owens and husband Mike of San Diego, CA.
Kimberly was preceded in death by her mother Karen Francis Hill, sister Kristen Marie Hill, paternal grandparents L.C. and Eva Mae Hill of OKC and maternal grandparents Oliver and Grace Francis of OKC and then Austin .
Kimberly was born in Oklahoma City, OK April 16, 1961. Due to her father being in the USN, Kim lived in Portsmouth, VA,Rochester, NY, Arlington,VA, and San Diego, CA before moving to Austin in 1972. She graduated from Crockett HS in 1979. Kim was an accomplished equestrian, showing horses for the family horse farm Austintatious Arabians. She was excellent at calligraphy and produced beautiful cards and letters to the family for holidays and special events. She attended Kinney Avenue Baptist Church. Kim was the one in the family who gave everyone nick names. She called herself "Kimmy Sue". She never had children but took on the role of surrogate mother for Michael in 2007 and saw him graduate from high school this past spring. She took her role as aunt seriously with all of her nieces and nephews.
Kimberly liked to travel and went on many vacation trips to Europe, central America and the USA.
Kimberly worked at Blue Cross/ Blue Shield in Austin and then Unisys where she met the love of her life Tim Savage of San Mateo, Ca. They married in Austin Sep 24, 2006 and she moved to San Mateo. She had hoped to return to Texas, but was not able to do so.
She developed chronic renal disease because of long term use of analgesics for chronic knee pain. Her death was due to cardiac complications from renal disease.
Kimberly will be greatly missed by her family and friends but her cheerful spirit will live on with us.

Services will be at Weed-Corley-Fish Funeral Home 10:00 AM Nov 13, 2015 with internment to follow at Capital Memorial Gardens in Pflugerville, Texas.
