I will cherish the laughs and fun times we have shared. I love you with all my heart KG ... and will miss you always.

For those who were lucky enough to be in his company, Kevin was generous with his sharp humor.  It was always a pleasure to share time & laughter with him.  Wil & I are really going to miss seeing him at social gatherings and local spots around town.  Our hearts are broken that we could not be there today to say our final goodbye and give our condolences to Patricia and family.

His absence in our days to come will leave a void. We choose to celebrate his life and all the positive things he brought to us. He was such a good friend and everyone at Charlotte's Fiesta Flowers loved him very much.

Kevin was one of those guys that made everything better when he was around.  So laid back but the life of the party at the same time.  Always on time with a witty remark that we would sometimes run with for days or even years.  When I think about the good times we had I still chuckle.  He will be sorely missed.

KG and I met working at Ambiente 14 yrs ago . . . which means I was 24 and he was 34 - I moved from Austin a year or so after that but Kevin and I grew into lifelong friends ever since. 

He and I would call each other once a week or so for the past 14yrs and would talk about absolute nothing . . . he'd typically answer my call with, "... dude, what the hell do you want I'm working" & then would proceed to bullshit w/me for 30 minutes about whatever new cheesy band he was into or about how he started a new painting & thinks I might like it - blahblahblah, but it always was a genuine conversation & we always laughed. 

Kevin was the first to call someone out on being a dumbass, but also was the first to then buy them a beer and make fun of himself to make the other person not feel bad . . . he embodied an awesome balance of confidence and humility and gifted us all with levity and the art of not taking ourselves too seriously. 

Kevin is the friend who you can take off your mask around and just be another dude trying to stay afloat and laugh while doing so . . . there's no doubt about the impact his goofy ass imprinted on this life and i'll forever think about and converse with him when I'm driving and normally would have been calling him to B.S. 

I love you buddy & thanks for it all . . . lastly, I can't help but envision you giving me shit about writing such a long memory on a public page - if you saw me at the celebration you would for sure give me a lot shit about it the minute you saw me . . . and that's why I love ya buddy.

Patricia, as a thousand people have said a million times: Kevin hit the lottery with you & no matter how much he tried to play it cool, you were and are his everything ❤

Dear Patricia Campos Gonzales, words cannot describe the sadness the loss of such an amazing guy as your husband Kevin as left in our hearts. My heart aches with you amiga in this sad day! I will always remember his beautiful smile, his sense of humor and his positive presence! My deepest condolences! I still cannot believe. Too young! From Solange
