Kenneth Elliott Jacobson

Kenneth Elliott Jacobson Kenneth Elliott Jacobson, age 88, of Austin, formerly of La Crosse, Wisconsin, died on August 10, 2005. He was born in La Crosse, Wisconsin on October 29, 1916 to Elliott and Helen Jacobson. Kenneth was the President of the 1935 Senior class at Logan High School in La Crosse, WI. He was a lifetime member of Bethel Lutheran Church in La Crosse, WI. After moving to Austin, TX, he became a member of Triumphant Love Lutheran Church. Kenneth served as a 1st Lieutenant in the Army Air Corps during WWII as a B-17 pilot. After his military career he returned to La Crosse to manage his family’s Automotive Service Station. He was a 33rd degree mason for over 50 years and a lifetime member of the Masonic Temple Lodge. Kenneth is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Diane and Myron Pilat; sister, Joyce Grant; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife, Lucille; son, Jay Elliott; and sister, Lavern Mattie. Memorial services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, August 14, 2005 at Triumphant Love Lutheran Church, 9508 Great Hills Trail. Memorial and Burial services will be held in La Crosse at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to the Endowment Fund at Triumphant Love Lutheran Church.
