Keith Stadden Clark Olson, age 62, passed away on the 4th of July 2018 at Seton Hays Emergency Room in Kyle, Texas. He is survived by his loving wife, Susana Maria De La Cruz Hosey Olson; stepson Victor Travis Hosey; brothers Jeff Olson and Arthur Olson; and sister Wrenetta Williams Gabriel.
Keith was preceded in death by his mother, Mariane Wilmer Williams; father Samuel Clark, Jr; and his adoptive father, Retired US Air Force Colonel Arthur Waldemar Olson, II.
Keith was born on April 29, 1956 in Shreveport, Louisiana and grew up in an Air Force Family. This gave him the opportunity to live “constantly on the move” from city to city and even overseas in Europe. Keith was quick to make friends since he knew he could not waste time waiting on people to introduce themselves.
Keith inherited his mother’s beautiful singing voice and learned to express himself starting at age six through singing in the school choir. As an adult, Keith’s bands included “The River Street Blues Band,” “Keith Olson and the Renovators,” and “Mail Box Money.” Keith’s motto was “Need help? I’m there!” which personified his desire to assist wherever or whenever possible. Keith had lifelong friends from Detroit, Michigan; Winder, Georgia; Austin, Texas; Honolulu, Hawaii; Atlanta, Georgia; Paris, Arkansas; Little Rock, Arkansas; Memphis, Tennessee; Corpus Christi, Texas; and ALL POINTS IN BETWEEN.
Keith lived his life with all his soul always seeking to please the Lord Jesus Christ and loved to pray for anyone who would participate in prayer and thanksgiving. His songs of worship and songs of love remain recorded in the hearts of those who knew him on Earth and I’m sure that Keith will keep on singing in Our Lord’s Heavenly Choir. Keith was a member in good standing at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and we will miss you Keith and love you always and forever.
