Katy Loulene Warren

Katy Loulene Warren passed away September 16, 2009. She was born March 1, 1920, in Sherman, Texas, to Edward Z. Gordon and Edna Morris Gordon. Katy was preceded in death by her parents and ten siblings. Katy spent most of her life in Lamesa, Texas, before moving to Austin, Texas, in 1993 following the death in 1991, of her husband of fifty-two years, William Whitman Warren. Katy worked for twenty-five years for Norris Insurance Agency in Lamesa and enjoyed her employment there and the people with whom she worked. She has many friends in Lamesa and took much pleasure in maintaining those relationships. Katy is survived by her daughter Linda McAdams, husband Carey McAdams; and daughter Ann McElhaney; grandchildren LeAnn McAdams Nabors and husband Bill; Lindsay McAdams Thomas and husband Mike; Joel William McAdams and wife Melissa; Melissa McElhaney Critz and husband Kris; Joey Warren McElhaney and wife Joy; Genny McElhaney; and fourteen great grandchildren. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, September 20, 2009 at Weed-Corley-Fish Funeral Home, 3125 N. Lamar.
