Joyce Ann Warren Bird

Joyce was born on January 27, 1949 to James A Warren Jr and Ingrid Joyce Berkman in Austin, TX. She grew up in Austin and attended McCallum High School before going on to attend the University of Texas Austin where she was a member of the Delta Zeta sorority.

Family was very important to Joyce, she was married to her beloved husband Donald E. Bird and the couple had one child, Brittany Bird Binder and Joyce greatly enjoyed spending time with them. In addition to her commitment to her family, she was a member of Gethsemane Lutheran Church and loved gardening, reading, and being involved in her community.

Joyce is predeceased by her parents and she is survived by her beloved husband, Donald E. Bird; daughter, Brittany Bird Binder; grandchildren, Caden Binder and Jackson Binder; brother, James Warren III and wife, Vikki Warren; nephews, Jared Warren and Jeff Bird; and niece, Lisa Roberts (Bird) as well as many cherished cousins, great nieces and nephews and great great nieces and nephews.

She will be missed dearly by everyone who had the great luck to love and know her.

A funeral service for Joyce will be held at Weed Corley Fish Funeral Home located at 2620 S. Congress Ave. Austin, TX 78704.
