Joseph Kirk

He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Howard and Angie Kirk, Omaha, NE; and Charles ‘Bud’ Parker, Woonsocket, SD.

Joseph is survived by his daughter, Berkeley Caelynn Kirk of Austin, TX; his parents, Ken and Julie Kirk, Austin, TX; grandmother Ledoris Parker, Sioux Falls, SD; his sisters, Carrie and husband John McDonald, Austin, and Emily and husband Justin Rich, Midland, TX; nephew Jackson Parker McDonald, Austin; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and special friends and loved ones.

Joseph graduated from Westlake High School in Austin and attended Colorado State University. He had a wealth of friends who truly adored him, and was an incredible poet and artist who loved the Rocky Mountains in Colorado.

A Memorial service will be held at 2:00 pm Friday, February 4, 2011, at St. John Neumann Catholic Church in Austin, TX. A reception will follow in Morris Hall, St. John Neumann Church.
