John worked and traveled all over the United States as an extremely gifted songwriter and musician, returning home to Austin five years ago. A natural teacher, he shared his musical gifts with everyone who crossed his path, guiding many to success on the guitar, bass, keyboard, or drums. He touched every life he came into contact with, and was a creative, kind and gentle soul that would give the last dollar in his pocket and the shirt from his back to anyone in need.
John is survived by his mother, Melissa Miller of Austin Texas, and father, John Strahm of Springboro, OH, his brothers Bobby Strahm and wife Dena of Rockwall, TX; Andy Strahm and wife Cristina of San Marcos, TX; Jacob Miller and wife Krystal of Austin, TX; and sister Kayce Strahm of Springboro, OH. He is also survived by his nieces and nephews, Avery, Paul, Jack, Chloe, Andie Marie Teal, Kory and Ethan, many cousins, aunts and uncles, and countless close friends.
This world lost a great person, he will be missed by many. See ya when we get there John... "The Road Goes On Forever and the Party Never Ends."
