John "Jack" Small

John Ray (Jack) Small, age 79, passed away on May 24, 2010 after a long battle with Alzheimer Disease. He worked for 29 ½ years at the City of Austin Govalle Wastewater Treatment Plant and attended Bastrop Church of Christ. John left behind his beloved wife of 45years, Ollie Haller Small; children Billy Small, Vicky Poursepanj, Teresa Lawhon, and Tracy Small; 7 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren; sisters Jane Strasbaugh, LaVerne Hill, and sister-in-law Skip Small; in addition to numerous extended family members and friends. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 27, 2010 at Cook-Walden North Lamar. Graveside services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, May 28, 2010 at Haynie Chapel Cemetery in Garfield.
