John Anthony Salinas

John Anthony “BIG JOHN” Salinas, age 39 of Pflugerville, Texas passed away on March 10, 2020 of heart failure. He was born in Austin, Texas on February 24, 1981. John worked as an Insurance Claim Adjuster for Progressive Insurance for 9 years. He believed in aliens and Bigfoot, enjoyed robots and Godzilla, as well as cheesy sci-fi and horror movies. His three favorite holidays were Halloween, Christmas and Bastille Day.

He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Alex and Alice Cortez; Isaias and Lydia Salinas Sr.; and aunt, Orbilia “Billie” Salinas. John is survived by the love of his life, Latoya Regalado; his parents, Isaias and Mary Salinas Jr.; sister, Jessica Salinas and Ted Wootton; nephews, Brayden “Smuckers” and Logan “Baby Squach” Wootton.

The funeral service & viewing will be 1:00-3:00 PM on Saturday, March 21, 2020 at Weed-Corley-Fish Funeral Home, 2620 South Congress Avenue.
