John, it's 2024 and we are approaching another Christmas without you.  I miss you very much.  As time passes, I become more aware, not less, of all you have missed in the past eleven years.  I wish you were here to celebrate the holidays.    I hope you are with the Lord and unaware of what befell you on Earth.  I will be thinking of you on Christmas, and beyond.

Man John think about you from time to time.  You were very good energy to be around. Always smiling and helping out where ever you can.  I could never root for the Niners before I met you but I catch myself rooting for them and being happy when they do well.  Great memories!

John, on Friday it will be ten years since you passed.  I miss you and wish you had the last ten years to grow in your life and find joy.  Would have been lovely to spend the last ten years laughing with you and listening to good music.  You were the best brother.

I still remember when you guarded your idol Joe Montana. You shook with so much excitement. You shook off my prod of a joke with your situation at the time. You were amazing man, I think about you still and us old coworkers still know who you were.

John, 2017 is here and it brought yet another challenging discussion with the Texas Parole Board.  The talks centered on preventing the person who took your life from being released.  Very hard on our family, however we are determined to be your voice.   I thought of you today as we engaged in a special civic activity, dedicated to your memory. I met John in School.  His family moved to Midland and we became friends quickly.  He was a great person and genuine.  Just a good guy.  I am sorry for your loss but know John was liked and respected by many.

John, you were my first love at 16.  We never forget our first love.  I've talked to so much these past months, wishing we had talked more over the past 20 years.  I'm grateful we reconnected last May and I wish we had more time together since.  I know you are looking down upon me as a guardian angel.  Thank you :)

Sorry to find this page... I worked with john about ten years ago and just wanted to say, he was a great guy to have on your side and to share a laugh. Reading through other posts, I have to say that "Friendly Giant", is a good way of putting it. I have great memories working with John. RIP buddy.

John, you are always in my thoughts.  As your sibling, it's hard to imagine a world without you.  Fortunately, I don't have to do that, for you are still with me. I wore your favorite watch to the Seahawks game yesterday; I know you would have appreciated their win, as I appreciated your SF 49ers. My friend John,

I have very fond memories of our early friendship, starting in Junior High.  I describe you to my family as a friendly giant, and a perfect gentleman.  Although we had lost track of each other through the years, I often thought of you and the great times we shared growing up. I was lucky to have seen you last year when I was visiting Austin.  It was so good to see you after all of these years.  I saw the look of hope in your eyes for a better life when we spoke.
