John Albert "John A." Goldstein

John A. was born January 5, 1944 in Austin to Carl Alvin "Poodle" and Alma Jane Goldstein. He attended Austin Public Schools. He was a pool shark, loved fishing, life, family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; siblings, Wendell Goldstein, Emma Smith, and Richard "Dickey" Goldstein; and a daughter, Lori Lynn Goldstein.

John A. is survived by his wife, Linda Goldstein; children, Shelli Smithey and husband John, Denise Collum and husband Lance, Amy Howell and husband Nathan; grandchildren, Amber Benham, Jason Schager, Lyndsey Schager, Hunter Stutts, Madison Goldstein, John Paul Smithey, Taylor Smithey, Leah Stockton, Will Stockton, Anna Stockton, Kylie Collum, Taylor Kirk, Sarah Tate, Austin Roberts, Nathan Geiser, Ashleigh Geiser; great-grandchildren, Dalas, Delani, Caidan, Cash, Kellen, Olivia, Charlee Grace, Brooks, Jaxon, Jocelyn, Blaise, Gracyn, Liam, Conner, Nataleigh and Samuel; siblings, Carl Goldstein, Helen Atkins, Sandra Eshnaur, James "Jimbo" Goldstein, and Earl Dean Goldstein

A Memorial Service will be held at 1:00 pm Monday, December 5, 2016 at Weed-Corley-Fish Funeral Home, 2620 S. Congress Ave., Austin, TX 78704.
