He was employed with Calcasieu Lumber Company for many years then he and three others formed Appliance Associates. He retired as Mechanical Supervisor from Austin Community College.
Joe was preceded in death by his father, Frank White; his mother, Bartola Morales; brothers, Manuel, Frank and Edward Villegas; uncles, Paul, Pete, and John Morales; aunts, Amelia Hernandez, Aurelia Morales and Augustina Halsell.
A Korean War Veteran, he is survived by his wife of 63 years, Olivia Ruiz Morales; sons, Joe Jr. (Candy), Michael, Jeffrey (Christie); daughter, Kimberly Juarez (Herman); grandsons, Andrew Morales (Veronica), Paul Morales (Daniella), Sebastien Juarez, Hayden Vasquez, Hudsyn Morales; granddaughter, Aubrey Paige Morales; great-grandchildren, Garrett Mayfield, Joseph Tre, Emma, Joshua, Adam, and Jaylyn Morales.
Visitation will begin at 4:00 pm with Recitation of the Holy Rosary to start at 6:00 pm on Sunday, January 24, 2016 at Weed-Corley-Fish Funeral Home, 2620 South Congress.
Mass of the Christian burial will be celebrated 10:00 am on Monday, January 25, 2016 at St. Ignatius Martyr Catholic Church with Reverend William Wack, C.S.C. officiating. Entombment will follow at Assumption Mausoleum.
Serving as pallbearers will be his grandsons, Andrew, Paul, Sebastien, Hayden; great-grandson, Joseph Tre, and his nephews, Joe and Edward Villegas.
In Lieu of flowers the family is requesting donations be made to the following in Joe's name: St.Ignatius Church, American Heart Association, American Diabetes Association.
