Joan Hale Siler, age 71, of Austin, Texas, died on May 3, 2007. She was born on November 21, 1935, in Austin, Texas to William Homer Hale and Nora E. Hale. Joan was a member of Hyde Park Christian Church. She is survived by her husband, James (Jim) B. Siler; sons, Bruce Allan Siler and Jody Siler, James Barry Siler and Bobbi Henley Siler, Allan Hale Siler and Robin Jeanne Siler; grandchildren, Bruce Austin Siler, Bianca Kimberly Siler, Baylie Marie Siler, Britnie Michelle Pike, Codi Mae McGuire, Amber Rene McGuire, and Brooke Elizabeth Jackson; she is also survived by cousin, Jean Hale Moberg. Joan was preceded in death by her parents. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Sunday, May 6th at Weed-Corley-Fish Funeral Home and from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. on Monday, May 7th at Hyde Park Christian Church. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, May 7, 2007 at Hyde Park Christian Church, 610 East 45th Street, officiated by Dr. Robert Bowen. Burial will follow at Austin Memorial Park.
