Jeri Jo Barr

Jeri Barr Jeri Barr was born on July 4, 1956 and died on May 5, 2008. Jeri was 51 years old, and true to her happy nature she arrived on a holiday and left us on a holiday. She used her life to be a loving presence to all those around her. In 1999, she and the Barr family founded a non-profit organization called The Retreat at Candlelight Ranch, to provide therapeutic outdoor programs to children with special needs. Most recently, she began her own company, j'tote Designer Laptop Bags, where she enjoyed working in fashion and running her own company. Jeri will be missed by all who knew her, and every life she touched will forever be changed. She made you feel blessed -- to be with her, to know her – and inspired everyone she met. Jeri was a loving wife, mother, and sister. She leaves behind her loving and devoted husband, Don; two beautiful daughters: Stephanie Cooper, Ashley Cooper and her husband Jeremy; a devoted son, Carson; six sisters: Cookie Garcia and husband Tony, Cheryl Gonzalez and husband Ricky, Cathy Parker and husband Wayne, Joleen Sultenfuss and partner Carlos, Mary Montalbo and husband Rusty, Annette Glavan and husband Randy; two brothers: Larry Sultenfuss and wife Marian, Tom Sultenfuss and wife Cindy; and many, many nieces and nephews. Jeri was proceeded in death by her parents, Herbert and Mary Cecile Sultenfuss. A viewing will be held from 6 to 8 pm on Wednesday, May 7, 2008 at Weed-Corley-Fish Funeral Home.
