Jen graduated from Garza High School in 2006 with honors.
She continued on to Austin Community College with thoughts of majoring in cosmetology.
She was employed in the service industry as she enjoyed working with and helping other people. Jen had a passion for music festivals as well as Austin’s colorful culture.
She was preceded in death by both her maternal and paternal grandparents as well as both of her uncles, Tom and Wes Pye.
She is survived by her mother, Rose Pye Abeyta, her father, Jose Abeyta Jr., stepmother, Ann Abeyta, her aunt Linda Pye, cousins Janet Neal, Veronica Cuzzo, Angela Mauldin, Natalie Pye Kinsall, and ten second cousins.
Both of her uncles died recently, two men whose great senses of humor were inherited by Jen as she was exceptionally lovely and witty.
The family will receive friends Monday, May 9, 2016, at 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M., at Cook-Walden/Forest Oaks Funeral Home. Funeral Service will be Tuesday, May 10, 2016, at 3:30 P.M., at Cook-Walden/Forest Oak Funeral Home.
